Dan Fawcett is the principal behind Love The Drive™, I have been fascinated by convertibles from a young age. There was something about those convertibles that I just couldn't resist. They just looked cool and the people driving them always looked like they were having fun.
My first convertible driving experience was driving a Citron 2CV around Europe in 1994. It was great (although a little under powered for the Autobahn at 26 horsepower). Literally, roll down the roof and let the fun begin. It was great!
As I moved on to other convertibles, I wanted to add comfort to what was already a great experience.
The solution? A wind deflector to cut down on wind buffeting in the interior of my convertible.
Except there was one problem. Everywhere I looked I noticed that wind deflectors were available exclusively for expensive German convertibles (BMWs, Porches, Mercedes, etc.) but not for North American and Japanese cars.
That's when Love The Drive™ was born. I made the decision to develop a product line of wind deflectors that would fit all convertibles: North American, Japanese and European convertibles.
